Mike has been a salesman at Downtown Sounds since 2007. Primarily a drummer since the age of 11, he has recorded with artists in every genre, toured the country, and taught students at all proficiency levels. He has also spent the last five years working in real estate brokerage, specializing in commercial site selection, market research, and brand growth. He is a firm believer in the co-op model, that organizations grow and thrive when decisions are formulated and executed by the people that do the work.
Music School, Marketing, Outreach
Madeline has worked for Downtown Sounds since 2017 in retail sales and now works as the Director of the Music School. A lifelong Pioneer Valley resident, she first began piano lessons at age six. She is a graduate of Greenfield Community College, where she studied business and marketing. Sales, Assistant Guitar Repair
Adam started working at Downtown Sounds in 2019. Since he was five, he's been making music, whether it be on his own, or with friends and other musicians. As he got older and his perfectionism got more intense, he wanted to have full control of the music he created. After learning more and more about the recording process, Adam now records, mixes, and masters his own tracks. Adam released my first solo EP "Sold to Creativity" on October 24th of 2018, and hasn't stopped releasing music since.
Downtown Sounds' most recent hire is Tom LeBeau from East Brookfield. Tom works as a retail salesperson, utilizing his wealth of musical knowledge to assist customers. He also teaches guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, and drums at Valley View School in North Brookfield. A lifelong musician, Tom LeBeau also produces his own music in his home studio, and plays lead guitar in the band Rosie Porter and the Neon Moons.
